is a 25 year old London-based architectural design practice which employs a team of 20 people with interlocking skills as well as a huge network of outside specialists, artists and crafts people. It was established by two designers born in Zambia and educated in England – Anthony Collet and Andrzej Zarzycki.
Anthony Collett studied sculpture at Cape Town University before moving to England where he gained a diploma in Interior Design from Hornsey College of Art. In 1979 he graduated from the Royal College of Art with and MA in Environmental Design. After leaving college he worked with John Stefanidis. He left in 1985 to set up his own architectural, interior and furniture design partnership in London.
Andrzej Zarzycki achieved an OND in electrical engineering from Reading College of Technology and then graduated with a BA Hons in 3 Dimensional Design from Buckingham College of Higher Education. He worked for Blissett Macdonald Architects from 1984, and in 1988, became a partner of Anthony Collett.

The studio specialises in residential architecture and interior design. They are one of those few practices that combine architecture, interior design and decoration and this multi-disciplinary approach offers a comprehensive service to their clients. Company’s clients include the owners of some of London’s most prestigious residential properties. Studio has an experience of working in Europe, America, Africa and the Far East.
The company is perhaps best known for working within the historic tradition of classical architecture and designing buildings and environments that respect tradition and at the same time reflect a contemporary attitude. Wherever possible fixtures, fittings and furniture are custom designed for each individual project and manufactured by highly skilled specialists craftsmen using traditional materials and techniques with contemporary application. Bespoke detailing and clean lines, exquisite materials and bold scale are their trademarks. They’re highly respected within the industry, too.
